Sesquilé is a Colombian municipality in the department of Cundinamarca located in the province of Almeidas, 45 km northeast of Bogotá. From there we will take a beautiful hike up to the hill of the three old women where we will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the savannah and where we will be able to see the Tominé reservoir and some towns in the region.
Accessibility: hike in constant ascent between mountain and road.
Meeting point: Sesquilé main park
He started walking in a journey approx. 5 hours.
Medium level: Children over 12 years old and adults are allowed. The walk is not suitable for the elderly or pregnant women. If the walker uses any medication or has a medical prescription, inform the organizing committee to give the proper suggestions.
Before the start of the walk we will have a 15-minute warm-up.
During the tour we will be able to appreciate a beautiful path in the forest and in some sections beautiful panoramic views of the Bogotá savannah. The objective is to reach the top of this hill and walk around it, then we can enjoy our lunch and rest a bit. We descend to look for our transport that will return us to Bogotá.
RECOMMENDATIONS :
Be punctual: We will respect the time of people who arrive on time, enforcing schedules.
Hydration: At least a 500 ml bottle of water or a hydrating drink.
Footwear: Wear comfortable tennis shoes y with good grip or trekking boots.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. The use of loose sweatshirts or lycra is recommended. It is recommended to bring a jacket or jacket for the cold, as in some sections it may be necessary. You must also be prepared for the rain, so you must carry a jacket or waterproof plastic.
Backpack: Carry a backpack that is easy to carry and with which you can walk with your hands free.
